Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Develop and evaluate risk management processes and procedures in accordance to the bank’s Information Security policies and risk appetite. Responsible for the daily operation of the Security Team.

Maintain and Administer System Security

Performs daily tasks and monitor and analyze the security systems for any anomalies and potentials indicators of compromise.

Develops new or enhance current security strategies and procedures to mitigate potential risk/threats.

Administers the security systems to ensure reliabilities, identifying vulnerable areas, and implement or recommend solutions to enhance/strengthen the systems.

Research and provide recommendations to the management to elevate the overall security posture of IT.  (60%)

Maintain and Administer Security Team

Manages and evaluates the performance and production of the Security Team – Security Analyst and Network Administrator.  

Provides training and a work environment that fosters team work and excellent communications. (20%)

Service and Support:  Provide and resolve any escalated user support issues from HelpDesk. Provide support to System Administrator and other departments as needed. (15%)

Build Strong Communities:  Serve in a leadership position or as a volunteer of at least one community organization, staff bank-sponsored events, and represent West Bank by attending at least one dinner, luncheon or reception. (5%)

Qualifications (Include Education and Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree/certification and two years of work experience
• Good understanding/knowledge of Network/System administration or Network Security Analyst
• Knowledgeable in the following, but not limited to, Endpoint and Network detection and response (EDR and NDR), SIEM solutions, Privilege access management (PAM), Application whitelisting, NextGen firewalls, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIST Cybersecurity frameworks
• Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, Office365, Azure, and Active Directory, and networking protocols
• High level analysis, troubleshooting, technical, and leadership skills required
