West Bank will offer a Free Shred Day to the community at the 1601 – 22nd Street, West Des Moines parking lot on July 11, 2020, 8 a.m. - Noon. Because of the pandemic, there will be a few changes in place to follow recommended social distancing and personal protection practices.
Participants will be directed to designated parking spots where they will remove their own items from their vehicles and place them in the shred carts. Volunteers will take the carts to the truck where shred company employees will empty the carts into the mobile shredder. Carts will be wiped with disinfectant between vehicles. We recommend participants wear masks for further protection.
There is a 100 lb limit per vehicle on identity sensitive paper documents to be shredded. Sorry, we are unable to accept computers this year.
