West Bank is pleased to announce Therese Vaughan has joined the West Bancorporation, Inc. and West Bank Board of Directors.

Dr. Vaughan is currently an Executive in Residence at Drake University, where she was previously the Robb B. Kelley Visiting Distinguished Professor of Insurance and Actuarial Science. From June 2014 to June 2017, Dr. Vaughan served as the Interim Dean and then the Dean of Drake’s College of Business and Public Administration. Dr. Vaughan is a leading expert in insurance regulation having served as Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners from February 2009 to November 2012 and as Commissioner of the Iowa Insurance Division, directing all insurance business transacted in the State of Iowa, from August 1994 to December 2004. Dr. Vaughan currently serves on the Board of Directors for Verisk Analytics, American International Group, and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
