With Apple Pay®, Google Pay™ or Samsung Pay®, you can quickly and conveniently make in-store, online or in-app purchases straight from your smart phone.
Your West Bank debit card can now be added to a mobile wallet. A mobile wallet is an alternative to using your physical debit card and allows you to store your card information in digital form on your mobile device to make purchases.
Look for the Pay logo in stores and simply place your device near the terminal at checkout. You are instantly able to make purchases by simply holding your device near the contactless reader at checkout and verifying the purchase with a scan of your fingerprint or passcode. For online or in-app purchases, simply choose your mobile wallet payment option.
Mobile wallets use encryption, a process of encoding your debit card information, so your physical debit card number is not shared with a retailer when making a purchase. Unlike swiping your debit card, a fingerprint or passcode is required to verify the purchase is being made by the actual cardholder. Simply add your West Bank debit card to your mobile wallet and you’re ready to go!
Open the Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay app on your mobile device. Select 'add cards' from the menu and follow the instructions. You may be asked to provide additional authentication information to complete your card set up, including a verification phone call to customer service.
When you add your West Bank debit card to a mobile wallet, you may be required to call our customer service line to provide additional verification information. Please be sure to have the following information available when calling in to finalize the set-up.
No, West Bank does not charge a fee for customers to use mobile wallet, but standard charges from your cell phone provider may apply.
Yes, payments made using your mobile wallet will count toward the number of required transactions required to avoid a service fee.
You can use mobile wallet at millions of retailers, in app, and online. In stores, look for the contactless symbol on the terminal when you’re ready to check out.
