Product Solution Specialist

Purpose: Assist the VP Product Solution Manager with the strategy, initiation, evaluation, and implementation of new and existing banking products and solutions. Provide detailed support for the implementation of various new and existing bank products and solutions, as well as provide/coordinate required training for affected team members. With the help of the VP Product Solution Manager, this position will quarterback the post-implementation/ongoing support and administration for various existing banking products and solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Product/Solution Evaluation: Provide support to the VP Product Solution Manager during the evaluation of new and existing bank products and services. Support could include identifying vendors, coordinating meetings between vendors and appropriate internal team members, managing the product solution roadmap, identifying market needs or opportunities, building relationships with vendors, pulling appropriate data from various solutions (i.e. BA Reports, Fiserv, CRM tool), etc. (10%)

Project Management: Provide project management support to the VP Product Solution Manager for new/existing products, solutions, and/or initiatives from signing the contract through the successful implementation (i.e. Go-Live date) of the product/solution/initiative. Project management responsibilities could include coordination and partnership with applicable vendors, partnership internally with affected team members, preparation of required training materials, staff training, customer communications, and post-implementation success monitoring. Provide periodic status update meetings throughout the project management lifecycle to leadership. (20%)

Product Solution Administrator: Provide administrator responsibilities for various tools/solutions as directed by the VP Product Solution Manager.  (45%)

  • Administrator for 360 View: Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ensure CRM is operating appropriately, prepare various reports for management as needed, partner with training of team members, and assist Marketing as needed in the utilization for customer communication.  
  • Administrator for Business Process Manager (BPM): Manage all aspects of the BPM tool to ensure that it is efficient, effective, easily usable by bankers, and meets all operational, compliance and legal requirements.
  • Administrator for GRO: Manage all aspects of the GRO tool to ensure that it is efficient, effective, easily utilized by customers and meets all operational compliance and legal requirements.
  • Administrator of ClickSWITCH: Manage all aspects of the ClickSWITCH tool to ensure that it is efficient, effective, easily utilized by customers and meets all operational compliance and legal requirements.
  • Administrator of Configure Digital (Retail Online Banking solution): Manage all aspects of the Configure Digital online banking solution as well as providing an internal escalation point for problems, outages, etc.
  • Administrator for TransferNow (Account-to-Account) solution: Manage all aspects of the TransferNow A2A solution.  Provide an internal escalation point for problems, outages, etc.
  • Administrator for Zelle (Person-to-Person): Manage all aspects of Zelle (P2P) solution.  Provide an internal escalation point for problems, outages, etc.

Administrator for other various solutions which will be implemented and/or centralized in the future.  This role will continue to expand with the bank. 

Data Strategy Specialist: Gain significant understanding of the data/reporting in the various products and solutions and become the primary team member focused on leadership reporting. Provide various scheduled and ad-hoc Business Analytic reports to leadership. Additionally, help various departments provide with the creation and maintenance of customer forms, internal forms, etc. (10%)  

Professional Communication (Individual Contributor): Utilize professional and effective verbal and non-verbal communication to forge/enhance relationships with team members and customers. Communication should be clear, professional, respectful to others, and aligned with West Bank’s mission to build strong relationships, build strong communities and build upon our strong reputation. Team members should embrace candor with an appropriate tone to participate in the success of the department and organization. (10%)

Build Strong Communities: Participate in community events, including spending at least 4 hours annually staffing an event (art festivals, community celebrations, etc.), representing West Bank at a luncheon or reception as requested, or participating in a community festival (parade, etc.) or bank-sponsored outreach event. (5%)   

Qualifications (Include Education and Experience):   Associates Degree preferred; with 3 + years banking experience (retail, commercial, customer service, and/or operations). Knowledge and use of MS Office Products, and programs used by West Bank (Fiserv Premier, Navigator, GRO, etc.). Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work with multiple lines of business. Good judgment and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
