The CARES 2020 Act provides Economic Impact Payments to taxpayers who meet certain criteria.
For more information about criteria and payments, please visit the IRS Economic Impact Payment page.
According to the IRS, payments will be automatically processed for most taxpayers, and no further action is needed. This includes taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees. If you receive Social Security via direct deposit, you will receive your payment via direct deposit into the same account that you receive your Social Security.
When will I receive my payment?
West Bank does not know the status of your payment and we are unable to tell you when it will be received.
Please visit the IRS “Get My Payment” tool before contacting West Bank.
The IRS “Get My Payment” tool allows you to check on the status of your Economic Impact Payment. This tool also allows you to provide direct deposit information to the IRS, if they do not already have it.
Consider setting up a real-time Account Alert in West Bank Online Banking or Mobile Banking to be notified when a transaction is made on your account. Use the “Deposit was credited to an account” in the Transaction Alert Options.
It is important to remember that West Bank and the IRS will never contact you by telephone, text or email asking for your account information. Do not provide your banking information to anyone claiming to be registering you for your relief payment
