Congress recently passed the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. According to the IRS, economic impact (stimulus) payments will be automatically processed for most taxpayers, and no further action is needed. If you receive Social Security via direct deposit, you will receive your payment via direct deposit into the same account that you receive your Social Security.

The IRS “Get My Payment” tool will allow you to check on the status of your Economic Impact Payment. This tool also allows you to provide direct deposit information to the IRS, if they do not already have it.

Please use West Bank Online Banking or Mobile Banking to monitor transactions in your West Bank account.

Consider setting up a real-time Account Alert in West Bank Online Banking or Mobile Banking to be notified when a transaction is made on your account. Use the “Deposit was credited to an account” in the Transaction Alert Options.
