On June 12, 2025, West Bank held a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the new, modern building, located at 328 Hoffman Drive NW in Owatonna, Minnesota.

West Bank, originally founded in 1893 in West Des Moines, Iowa, expanded into the Minnesota market in 2013 with a location in Rochester. In 2019, West Bank opened three more Minnesota offices in Mankato, Owatonna, and St. Cloud. While the plan had always been to build a permanent location in Owatonna, the opportunity to take part in the recent riverfront reinvestment project spurred the decision.

“Investing in Owatonna by being a part of the riverfront redevelopment project showcases West Bank’s mission to build strong communities,” said Jason Eyberg, Owatonna Market President. “We look forward to continuing to serve the community with our new building.”

West Bank’s new building in Owatonna opened to the public on January 21. The approximately 8,500-square-foot building has a signature rooftop arch and a patio overlooking the riverfront for hosting special events and gatherings. With the permanent location, customers can enjoy expanded banking services including the introduction of a 24-hour walk-up ATM and Interactive Teller Machine. The West Bank team of experienced bankers in Owatonna will offer personal and business banking services as well as Treasury Management solutions.
