To enhance the security of your debit card and provide a convenient way to help protect your account, all debit cardholders with a valid cell phone number on our system are enrolled in our debit card fraud text alerts program.
No additional enrollment is needed.
Debit card fraud text alerts will send you text notifications of potential fraudulent transactions on your card and give you the ability to respond back to confirm if the transaction is valid.
With debit card fraud text alerts, you can reply directly to the text with a response of YES or NO to indicate if the transaction is valid. The text you will receive will look similar to this:
If the transaction is valid, reply YES.
You can then run the transaction again for payment.
If the transaction is fraud, reply NO.
If you didn’t make the suspicious transaction, reply NO and call the fraud center at 1-877-253-8962 immediately to help protect your account. We’ll also automatically block your debit card to prevent any additional fraudulent activity.
If you do not respond to the text message, the fraud center will attempt to call you to verify the transaction.
