Mobile deposit is a convenient way to deposit checks through the West Bank app when you’re on the go and can’t make it to the bank. We answer some of the most asked questions below:
First, you need to be enrolled in online banking on our website. Next, you need to download the West Bank mobile app from the App StoreSM or Google Play™.*
You just take a photo of the front and back of the check from within the app. A couple of helpful tips:
There is no limit on the number of checks that can be deposited through the app. There are per check and total daily dollar limits.**
Mobile check deposits are subject to verification so funds may not be available immediately. Generally, mobile check deposits received before 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, will be available the next business day. Mobile check deposits received Monday – Friday after 4:00 p.m., on weekends, and federal holidays are processed the following business day. For example:

It’s a good idea to keep the check that you use for mobile deposit for 45 days. After that time, please be sure to shred the check to help prevent fraud.
